Remodeling & Home Repairs in Murrells Inlet

Marsh air gets into everything in Murrells Inlet — decks, trim, subfloors. We repair the damage and build the replacements to survive it.

Living near the marsh is different. The moisture comes from every direction — off the water, up from the ground, out of the trees at night. Wood decks and porches rot faster here than anywhere else on the Strand. Trim fails early. Subfloors go soft where the crawlspace never quite dries out. We know, because fixing it is a big part of what we do in Murrells Inlet.

We build and rebuild a lot of decks and porches out here, and we build them for the environment — proper flashing, coastal-rated fasteners and connectors, and materials chosen for the exposure. Inside, it is kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, and the repair lists that marsh-side houses generate on schedule.

If you have repaired the same spot twice and it keeps coming back, the problem is almost always moisture that nobody traced to the source. That is fixable. Call us and we will take a look.

"Repaired rotted siding and window trim on our beach house. They found the leak that caused it instead of just swapping boards. Sent photos when they finished."

Tom W. Garden City

Brenda H. Carolina Forest

"Older home downtown. They matched our original trim, rehung three doors, and painted the whole interior. Careful work — no corners cut."

Mike C. Conway

"New LVP through the whole house. They fixed two soft spots in the subfloor instead of covering them up like the last guy wanted to. Floors are perfect."
